The Problem
Your heater isn’t blowing hot air.
Thermostat or Control Issue
If the thermostat is set incorrectly, has weak batteries, or isn’t communicating properly with the furnace, the system may run the blower without activating the heat cycle.
Dirty Filter or Airflow Restriction
A clogged air filter or blocked return vents can restrict airflow, causing the furnace to overheat and shut off the burner as a safety measure—resulting in cool air from the vents.
Ignition or Fuel Supply Problem
Faulty igniters, pilot light issues, or problems with gas or electrical supply can prevent the furnace from producing heat, even though the fan continues to operate.
