A Pro Comfort Community Program
Comfort for those
who served
We’re giving a new HVAC system to a deserving veteran — because your service makes our communities stronger.
2026 Nominations Nominations are open now.
How It Works
Four steps — and the first one takes a few minutes.
-
1
Nominate
Nominate a veteran or active-duty military member — or nominate yourself.
-
2
Applications Reviewed
Our judging committee reviews every eligible entry against a published scorecard.
-
3
Winner Selected
Finalists are verified and a home inspection confirms the HVAC replacement is needed.
-
4
System Installed
The new HVAC system is installed at no cost to the winner.
Who Is Eligible
The nominee must meet all of the following:
- Active-duty U.S. military member, or a veteran / retired service member
- At least 18 years old
- Owns the home where the HVAC system is located
- Home is within Pro Comfort's service area in Southwestern Pennsylvania — roughly from Canonsburg south toward Uniontown, and west from there
- Has an existing central furnace and air-conditioning system
- Existing system is a reasonable age for replacement (a Pro Comfort inspection confirms eligibility)
Final eligibility is confirmed against the official program rules during review — nominating someone doesn't guarantee they qualify.
Who Can Enter
Nominate yourself if you're a qualifying veteran or active-duty service member — or nominate someone else. Family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors and community members can all submit a nomination.
The Prize
One winner will receive a complete replacement HVAC system, installed at no cost to them. The exact equipment package and installation scope will be defined in the official rules.
Our Recipients
This is our first year of Comfort for Heroes. Check back after 2026 to meet our first recipient — this page will grow into a permanent record of every hero we've honored.
